Executive Board

Lizbeth Duran

President

[email protected]

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Psychology. I currently work as a Technical Consultant for a boutique consulting firm in San Francisco that focuses on website performance monitoring. I joined SHPE at the beginning of 2016 and decided to run for a board position after immediately identifying with SHPE’s mission to empower the Hispanic community to pursue and excel in careers in STEM. As Vice President, I wish to contribute to strengthening chapter operations so that we can further spread SHPE’s mission. Outside of SHPE I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. I am very excited for a productive and fun year ahead!

I know the impact SHPE has and I want to continue to help promote its mission with our community and encourage future generations to pursue their passions. I look forward to continuing old relationships with the community and establishing new ones, where we can continue to be a resource for those seeking [email protected] in STEM.
